After the holidays, the amount of giving to charitable causes declines while the needs of the people still remain high. Team V.C.R in the Entrepreneurship 300 class wants to help those in need in the Newberg area by collecting donations for the organization Newberg F.I.S.H.
This local food pantry has been proudly supporting the Newberg area for more than 40 years! Most of their food supplies come from local businesses, churches, schools and ordinary people. We are asking both students and staff members for packaged and preserved food donations such as canned foods, rice, beans, etc.
If you would like to donate, please email kampmannc13@georgefox.edu and we will arrange a time to pick up your donation on campus sometime this weekend. We will only be collecting donations until Tuesday, March 4, so if you would like to donate please let us know as soon as possible.
It is hard to make a difference by ourselves, but united we can truly make a positive impact for those struggling in our Newberg community!

’Support the university’s theatre department by attending the University Players’ thought-provoking performance of drama and music. The theme of our production this year is “Highway 18.”
Join us Friday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Wood-Mar Auditorium. Admission is free!
This year, the University Players explore stories of traveling down Highway 18 — who we are, where we go, and what we encounter along the way. Interwoven with music and masks, they tell stories from their own lives on their journeys toward identity.
Their stories are told in three acts.
Life. Death. Resurrection. Buckle up. It’s quite a ride.
