The campus community is invited to a Liberal Arts and Critical Issues presentation, “Science and Society: Moving Beyond Cultural Mythologies,” tonight (Monday) in Hoover 105. The session runs from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and features Arnold Sikkema, professor of physics at Trinity Western University.
The Western attitude, both Christian and otherwise, toward science represents a curious vacillation between idolization and vilification.
