Front Desk Safety and Security Seminar scheduled April 23

Tuesday, March 17th, 2015

Are you someone who either mans a front desk in your department, or have a work area that is easily accessible by the public? Do you know what to do in a dangerous situation, emergency or when difficult people approach you?

If you feel that your skill set in these areas is lacking, please consider attending the Front Desk Safety and Security training put on by Code4 in Salem on Thursday, April 23. Those who attended this seminar in December felt that they gained valuable information and also now feel better prepared to deal with threatening situations.

The cost is only $99, and up to half of that could be reimbursed for staff from the Staff Development Fund as long as money is left in the fund.

The seminar will take place at the Salem Comfort Suites-Airport and goes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. More information and sign-up forms can be found at code4.org. Questions? Call security at 503-554-2090.
