Benedictine monk speaks tonight in final LACI lecture of semester

Sunday, March 27th, 2016

All are welcome to the final Liberal Arts and Critical Issues lecture tonight (Monday), when Rev. Peter Eberle, a Benedictine monk at Mount Angel Abbey and Seminary, speaks on the topic “Is the Benedictine Option Benedictine?” in Hoover 105. The same presentation will be made from 5 to 6 p.m. and from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Rod Dreher, an American conservative Christian, has proposed the “Benedict Option” as a response to our contemporary secular culture. Rev. What are the differences?

The theme for this semester’s LACI series is “Christianity and Pop Culture.” For more information, contact Laurie Fair at lfair@georgefox.edu.
