Please join the student life division for a farewell reception for Alex Pia, our director for international student development, today (Thursday) from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Alex has served the university with deep faith, a heart for students, and a commitment to our shared work for 29 years. Refreshments and fellowship will begin in the Stevens Center’s atrium at 3 p.m., and a time for prayer and sharing will begin at 3:45 p.m.

Looking ahead, the all-community meeting this fall will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, in Canyon Commons. The day begins with a continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m., and lunch will be provided midway through the meeting.

Bon Appetit’s culinary journey along Route 66 is headed to New Mexico today (Wednesday). We’ll be on the Klages patio between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. serving up pork adovada tamales, calabacitas, cactus salad, biscochitos cookies, and horchata for $7.25. See you there!

The Campus Public Safety office is offering a series of CPR, AED and First Aid courses in July and August. Courses are designed for the general public, whether you need First Aid and/or CPR and AED for a job requirement or want basic classes for your own needs.
The sessions will teach you how to perform CPR on adults, children and infants, including rescue breathing with a mask; how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED); and how to help someone who is choking. Also included is basic First Aid, choking, and care for common medical, injury and environmental emergencies.
