Volunteer to help with spring commencement on May 2
You are invited to join the excitement of spring commencement as a volunteer! We are looking for several volunteers to serve as ushers at spring undergraduate commencement on Saturday, May 2. There will be two separate ceremonies again this year.
The schedule is as follows:
- 11 a.m.: Division of Humanities & Honors, College of Education, Division of Health & Behavioral Sciences, and George Fox Digital (this one’s almost full!)
- 3 p.m.: Division of Engineering, Science, Art & Business
This format allows a more personalized and celebratory atmosphere for our graduates and their families, and like last year, we are calling for “all-community” participation. What a thrill it is to see graduates, their families, and friends come together to celebrate!
Volunteers are vital to the smooth execution of the day’s events and help make the day memorable for our graduates and their guests. This event could not happen without you!
Please sign up for a time to serve. All who volunteer to participate as ushers will receive a $50 gift card for each ceremony they assist with! Sign up for both ceremonies and lunch will also be provided.
