Come hear about the initiatives assisting the aging population of Puerto Rico

Please join the Department of Social Work for a Fall Diversity Dialogue, featuring Carlos Rodriguez, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, in Hoover 103.

Carlos will share about the Happy NPO initiatives to care for the aging population of Puerto Rico. This population faces high levels of poverty, food insecurity and loneliness.

Carlos and his team have developed innovative approaches to respond to these ever-increasing needs that have been exacerbated by natural disasters and cuts to social programs.
