Kinesiology study on resistance vs. cardio seeks female participants
Women are sorely under-researched and underrepresented in exercise science literature, and we’re hoping to change that!
As kinesiology seniors, we have designed a six-week program called “Muscles or Miles,” in which females 18 to 35 will be randomly assigned exercise groups in order to determine whether resistance training or cardiovascular training is more effective for changing body composition short term.
The overall goal of the study is to empower more women to exercise by making it less intimidating. If you are interested in participating in this study, please reach out to Olivia Coleman at ocoleman22@georgefox.edu. Thank you!
