Attend a free screening of the documentary ‘Counted Out’

The history and politics and mathematics and data analytics departments are partnering to bring a screening of the documentary film Counted Out to campus. The film explores the importance of numerical literacy in our data-driven world through personal stories and interviews with experts. Watch this trailer to learn more.

There is a pre-screening option exclusively for faculty and staff wishing to see it before we have our main screening open to students and the Newberg community. The pre-screening will be on Tuesday, Sept. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Hoover 105 (please RSVP by emailing Aaron or Sarah).

The public screening will be on Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Hoover 105.

Both screenings are free, but you need to reserve a seat for the public screening by requesting a ticket here.
