Make note of required courses regarding sexual violence prevention and alcohol and other drugs

Heads up, Bruins! To ensure a safe and supportive campus community and comply with federal law (the Campus SAVE Act), all undergraduate students must complete two online courses through Vector Solutions/Safe Colleges by Sept. 22, 2025.

Required courses:

  • RespectEDU for College: This course addresses sexual misconduct and sexual violence prevention and is also required for all student-athletes by the NCAA.
  • Alcohol & Other Drugs

Why this matters: These courses are mandatory annually, and failure to complete each will result in a $50 fine.

We understand the content can be sensitive. If you experience anxiety due to the courses, please email Jere Witherspoon at jwitherspoon@georgefox.edu for an exemption. Our confidential Health and Counseling Center and spiritual life office are also here to support you.

There are two optional courses related to active shooters and mental health. We will send you more details and course links soon.
