OT program hosts kindergarten readiness clinic this August

The occupational therapy doctorate program needs your help! We are in need of kids entering kindergarten this fall for the purpose of helping prepare them for a successful kindergarten transition while providing hands-on clinical experience for OTD students.

Sessions, scheduled Aug. 4-8, will be led by doctoral students in the OT program, and all will be supervised by licensed occupational therapy clinicians and OTD faculty.

Our focus areas will be:

  • Fine motor skills (e.g., writing, cutting)
  • Gross motor coordination
  • Social interaction and peer play
  • Following routines and instructions
  • Self-regulation and attention skills

There is no cost to participate! To receive a required participation form, please email Brooke Morris at bmorris@georgefox.edu. Questions? Please contact Brooke Morris at 503-554-2480 or Kate Turner at kturner@georgefox.edu.
