Here are some ways you can transform your meals into experiences that nourish your mind and body, setting you up for a lifetime of healthy eating.

  • Our comprehensive guide to mindful eating features an array of resources and tips that will help you assess your current eating habits, choose the right foods, listen to your gut and slow down at meal time.
  • The experience of eating doesn’t just involve taste – it encompasses the aroma of the food, the way it looks and the way it feels. Learn how to eat with your senses and make the most of every meal.

Ready to extend mindfulness beyond the main course? The Wellness Committee invites you to explore these resources on regrowing vegetables in the kitchen and repurposing food scraps for delightful meals, snacks and seasonings. Enjoy!

Soloists Zeller, Buehler perform at special Easter concert tomorrow night

Tuesday, April 15th, 2025

As Easter approaches, the university community is welcome to reflect on the death and sacrifice of Jesus at a special concert, “The Way of the Cross,” at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday) in Bauman Auditorium.

Special guest soloists Richard Zeller and Susan Buehler will join the university’s Concert Choir and Chamber Orchestra in performing Requiem by Gabriel Fauré. The performance, featuring more than 150 singers, is contemplative, reflecting on the death of Christ, how we live, the death that is to follow, and the promise of heaven.

George Fox students and employees may receive one free ticket per person. Additional tickets may be purchased here. Come join us in contemplating the sacrifice Jesus made for us.
