Catch these theatre performances as the semester winds down

Need a break during the last few weeks of school? George Fox Theatre has a number of fun performances that you are invited to attend for free! From comedy improv to a timed technical theatre competition, there’s something for everyone! Events are as follows:

  • Acting Studio Final Showcase: April 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Wood-Mar Auditorium. The acting class will present scenes and monologues for one hour total.
  • Improv Class Final Showcase: April 21 at 9 p.m. in Wood-Mar Auditorium. This will be an improv comedy performance featuring both short- and long-form improv for 80 minutes total.
  • Shakespeare Under the Stars: April 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Amphitheater (Wood-Mar if it’s raining)
    A celebration of Shakespeare scenes and songs for his birthday. Hot beverages will be provided! This performance will be 80 minutes in total. If you would like to perform a piece, fill out this Google Form.
  • Epiphany Presents: April 24 at 7:30 p.m. in Wood-Mar Auditorium. Epiphany Ensemble presents original works of faith and theatre for 50 minutes total.
  • Tech Olympics: April 29 at 7:30 p.m. in Wood-Mar Auditorium. Stagecraft students race to complete a series of technical theatre tasks in a fast-paced competition for two hours in total.
