Explore the virtues of empathy, humility and gratitude in navigating disagreement

If you’re wondering how to thrive in turbulent times like these and build bridges across political divides, you should come hear longtime George Fox faculty members Mark and Lisa McMinn talk about their latest book, An Invitation to Slow.

Starting at 6:30 p.m. in EHS 102 this Thursday, April 10, the McMinns will talk with George Fox Civility Project Director Ron Mock about their book. They will focus especially on their chapters about empathy, humility and gratitude, which have important implications for navigating these difficult times and communicating with robust civility. There will be time for questions and comments from those attending the event.

Reach out to Ron at rmock@georgefox.edu if you have any questions.
