Start using the ‘Save the Date’ function on catering orders

Sunday, March 9th, 2025

A question for all administrators and anyone who places orders for lunches, dinners or events through Bon Appetit’s online ordering system, Catertrax: Did you know about the “Save the Date” function?

You can utilize this feature when you know the date of your event, even if you don’t have all the details (such as what you would like to serve). This way, we will be aware of your event, be able to plan staffing accordingly, and know to reach out to you in the future.

Use this link to check it out. If you have any questions about this function, please feel free to reach out to catering@georgefox.edu.

Chess Club is a group of casual chess players who seek to create community by meeting from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the library every Friday.

This week’s Chess Club meeting will include a twist in order for us to prepare for the upcoming tournament. The theme will be Fisher Random style, which means the pieces change position every game.

The Chess Club tournament will be next Saturday, March 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. in Hoover 102. This tournament will be a round robin (everyone plays everyone) Fisher Random tournament.

T-shirts will be awarded to the top players in the event, as well as a raffle winner from the general audience, so that even if you don’t win you can still get a prize.
