Use Gemini for Google Workspace at George Fox

As announced at the March all-employee meeting, Google’s Gemini AI services are now available to all George Fox employees through your university @georgefox.edu account! Not only is Gemini an AI chat resource, similar to ChatGPT or Claude, but Gemini can also collaborate directly in Google Workspace applications.

To access Gemini, look for the “Gemini Star”or visit this link. For quick help on getting started, including using features such as image generation, check out Google’s Guide for Using Gemini.

Using Google Gemini through your university account means:

  • Interactions with Gemini stay within the George Fox Google Workspace
  • Content provided to Gemini is not used for AI model training
  • The same enterprise-grade security protections from the rest of George Fox’s Google Workspace apply to Gemini.
