Check out this DPT research participation opportunity

A research group within the Doctor of Physical Therapy department is looking for people who are interested in having their lower leg strength, balance and walking abilities assessed during a one-hour session in our biomechanics lab.

You qualify for this study if you:

  • Are between 45-70 years old
  • Can walk 30 feet without an assistive device
  • Have not had a surgery, serious orthopedic injury, or pregnancy in the last three months that has greatly reduced your activity level
  • Have not had a neurologic condition or diagnosis such as a nerve injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, or peripheral neuropathy
  • Do not have an allergy to paper tape
