Registration closes Friday for the OSAC Scholarship Workshop

If you are an Oregon resident and plan to complete the OSAC Scholarship application, you don’t want to miss the OSAC Workshop hosted by the Academic Resource Center (ARC) next week!

OSAC offers over 600 scholarships totaling more than $10 million in awards. However, the application can be daunting, time-consuming and complicated – which is why we are offering some extra assistance this year.

The ARC has 16 slots available for 25 minutes each to help specifically with the essay-writing portion of the application. You can sign up for an appointment on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 3 to 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 3 to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, Nov. 7, from 3 to 5 p.m.

The deadline to register is this Friday, Nov. 1

You must visit the ARC in person to sign up for a time slot (#1 on the campus map). If you can’t make it, you can also schedule an individual appointment at the ARC to work on scholarship applications with a consultant at a more convenient time.
