Attend ‘Journey of Hope’ to explore biblical justice and the root causes of injustice in Lebanon

The Center for Peace and Justice invites you to a presentation by Elio Constantine, entitled “Journey of Hope,” on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. in Hoover 105.

In his presentation, Constantine will explore how we are called to live in justice and how a biblical approach to justice is applicable anywhere in the world. He will also address the root causes of injustices in Lebanon and the surrounding region.

Constantine is a Lebanese business professional working for Heart for Lebanon, a Christian organization focused on helping under-resourced families and children in Lebanon grow spiritually. He oversees the Middle East Center for Justice and Missions, which advocates for justice through Christian missions and provides training for future leaders.

The Middle East Center for Justice and Missions promotes a Christ-centered approach to injustice, advocacy, and hands-on training. It highlights Lebanon’s chronic injustices, arguing that true justice can only be found through faith in Jesus Christ.

Elio will be on campus all day on Thursday, Oct. 17. If you are interested in having him visit your class for a Q&A or to guest lecture, please contact twytsma@georgefox.edu for more information.
