‘Thriving Together’ Spiritual Well-being Challenge: Obedience

Thursday, June 22nd, 2023

Do that one thing. It may not be something urgent, but you know God’s voice has been softly whispering it to you, maybe for months.

It may be the Spirit is asking you to write a sympathy note to someone, send someone flowers, make a dessert for the new neighbor, babysit for a friend, or call a family member. Or it may be obedience to a larger calling, hearing the word of God and acting on it.

Obedience is aligning our will to God’s will, doing what God has asked of us. When we completely surrender to Christ’s authority and base our decisions and our actions on God’s Word we are acting in obedience. Take 15 minutes today to mindfully consider and follow up on the prompting.

Thank you for joining with your colleagues in participating in the Spiritual Well-being Challenge. Please tell us how the experience was by filling out this survey for our weekly drawing.
