In the Office of Student Life, we are continually evaluating ways in which we can better serve and address the needs of students. We seek ways to help students maintain their mental health and well-being while at George Fox.
We are asking you to take a few moments to complete this anonymous survey that will provide us with more information about individual mental health needs, experiences with current mental health services, and preferences for the mental health services offered on campus.
The survey results will be used to inform the development of potential new mental health programs and services tailored to meet the needs of individuals in our community.
After completing the survey, you will have the opportunity to be entered in a drawing to win one of four $25 Amazon gift cards. If you have any questions or would like to provide further information, please email Sharia Hays to schedule an appointment. Thank you for your time and insight.
This survey is an active collaboration between Sharia Hays, EdD, dean of student care and operations, and the university’s PsyD consult, education and program evaluation II team; Joel Davies, MA; Dennis Kurtz, MA; Liberty Lillibridge, MA; and Hunter Schow, MA.
If any questions or concerns arise, feel free to reach out to Sharia Hays at shays@georgefox.edu.

The Maker Hub’s Injection Molding Machine by LNS Technologies is not as scary as it sounds. Located in The Vault, this machine is used to heat up plastic and inject it into a mold. This machine is primarily used to make prototype parts or a low-production of parts due to the machine’s size. Check out this video to see how it works, and visit the Maker Hub’s Wiki page for more information.
The Maker Hub exists as a resource and creative outlet for the entire George Fox community (yes, including non-engineers!). We are looking for student aces. A student ace is simply an expert on a piece of equipment who helps train other students on the usage of that equipment and gains extra privileges within the Maker Hub.
Please email makerhub@georgefox.edu if you would like to get connected or have any questions.

Doyle is a godly treasure, both as a person and as a musician, and you won’t want to miss this rare opportunity to spend an evening with him.
In addition to his Saturday night performance, Dykes will be hosting a guitar clinic that afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m. in Ross 208. To reserve a spot, contact Emma Rieth at erieth@georgefox.edu.
