Sign up for a Wilderness First Aid course held on the Newberg campus
University Recreation is hosting a Wilderness First Aid course from Saturday, March 4, to Sunday, March 5, at the Hadlock Student Center (Newberg campus). This course is open to students, employees and the public.
Wilderness First Aid is a two-day introduction to general medical concepts and basic life support skills. It is specifically geared toward people that enjoy spending time outside, so that they can be better prepared to respond to situations that may occur when adventuring, playing or working in the outdoors. The course is taught by Mark Whitaker, a professional instructor with significant patient care and backcountry experience.
