- Plan for a busier than usual Canyon Commons. Guests will use the main server line and will be encouraged to dine in CCD 101-103. If you see a family looking for a spot to sit, invite them to join you!
If you have questions, email visit@georgefox.edu or call Lauren Hill at 503-554-2245.

Step into a cross-cultural experience this month in the Minthorne Gallery (located in the Hoover Academic Building)!
The School of Communication and Design presents “Art and Artifacts from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Surrounding Countries.” This exhibition features a variety of masks, figures, rugs, baskets and more that former U.S. Ambassador Harriet Isom collected during her time serving abroad. Purchased from itinerant vendors, these objects represent various people groups across the Central African belt and offer us a glimpse into their lives.
Despite their relocation to our gallery, we emphasize that many of these excellently crafted works served religious, spiritual, or ritualistic purposes in their original contexts.
Join us tomorrow (Friday)Â from 5 to 8 p.m. during Newberg’s First Friday Art Walk to celebrate this show with us!
Questions? Contact Chandler Brutscher at cbrutscher@georgefox.edu.

Until further notice, we are continuing to track COVID-19-related expenses. For all purchases that relate to the COVID-19 pandemic, please enter “COVID-19†in the “chartfield1†field when coding transactions. Expenses would include personal protection equipment like masks, signage for keeping distance, cleaning equipment, computer software, etc.
This includes all payment methods, including, but not limited to, purchase requisitions, invoices, check request forms, Concur reports, expense reports, petty cash vouchers, etc.
Only one “chartfield1†can be used per transaction, and the COVID-19 code must take priority over another department designation.
Questions? Call Lael May in the finance department at ext. 2170, or email her at lmay@georgefox.edu.
