Today is last day of priority registration for ‘Rocktoberfest’

University Recreation is hosting its annual fall rock-climbing competition at the Hadlock Student Center on Friday, Oct. 29! This event is a day of fun and friendly competition that is suitable for climbers of all skill levels.

All George Fox students, employees and UREC members are invited to participate. If interested, please register here by today (Thursday) to guarantee you get a properly sized T-shirt and to secure the climbing time that you want.

Climbing sessions are now 90 minutes each. The event will last from 3 to 10 p.m., and an award ceremony with door prizes will be held at 9 p.m. Costumes are highly encouraged for the competition, as it will be Halloween weekend.

The cost is $10, which helps cover T-shirt costs. Unfortunately, there is no way to register without this fee. However, we do have sponsorship spots available. Please let us know if you need assistance. Likewise, let us know if you would like to sponsor a climber.

Competition rules and details can be found here.

If you have any questions about sponsor opportunities or about the Rocktoberfest Climbing Competition, contact Moriah Clock (mclock20@georgefox.edu).
