Important info about vehicle registration
Students: Following are the dates when the vehicle registration portal will open:
- July 1: All commuters and graduate students only
- July 8: Seniors
- July 15: Juniors
- July 22: Sophomores
For incoming freshmen and transfer students, the application for a parking permit will open up on July 1 on the Campus Public Safety website. Approved residential applicants will then be given instructions on how to register for a permit.
Commuters and graduate students may register only one vehicle on MyGFU, and if they have a second family-owned vehicle they switch in-between, that vehicle must be registered in the Campus Public Safety office. This option is only for a second family-owned vehicle, not a roommate’s, girlfriend’s or boyfriend’s vehicle, etc.
Commuter and graduate parking permits are not limited, but residential permits are. Please register when the registration portal opens up for your class so as to not miss out on a permit.
