Tomorrow is the day! Hear from Norah Otondo, the program director for Quilts for Empowerment, about her journey of faith and resilience in the face of stigmatization and suffering at 7 p.m. in the Intercultural Resource Center.
QFE is a local nonprofit that works toward personal and economic empowerment for sexual assault and obstetric fistula survivors in Kenya. This is Norah’s first time traveling outside of Africa to share her story.
If you would like to hear a voice that often goes unheard, engage in discussions at a multicultural event, see the beautiful art quilts created by survivors, and learn how QFE is empowering women, then please come!
