BSU hosts events for Black History Month; all are invited

The campus community is invited to upcoming Black Student Union events as we celebrate Black History Month in February. Join us for any of the following:

Friday, Feb. 16: Movie Night
BSU will be joining the international student organization to go see the movie Black Panther. We will provide a ticket and transportation, but only 10 spots are available. Sign up here.

Tuesday, Feb. 20: Matheteis
Ever heard of gentrification? If you have, join the Matheteis conversation about gentrification on Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in Canyon Commons. If you haven’t, come anyway! Snacks and elective chapel credit offered!

Thursday, Feb. 22: Linfield Trip
We are going to Linfield to see Jane Elliot! We will join Linfield for their Black History Month celebration on Thursday,  Feb. 22. We will leave Stevens at 6:30 p.m. Food provided!

Friday, Feb. 23: Koinonia
Join us for the first-ever Koinonia featuring BSU from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in Canyon Commons. There will be free food, elective chapel credit and free T-shirts. The night will include dinner, worship (special guest), small-group discussions, and conversations around the “I’m Not Racist” video by Joyner Lucas.
