The program is designed to match our international students with American students to learn about global perspectives and differences between cultures. The setting is informal, fun and informative and gives students the opportunity to share their cultural stories and experiences in a small-group setting that meets weekly.

  • You can join as an individual or invite a friend to join your group.
  • Groups will be a combination of international students and American students.
  • Groups will be a maximum of four people but could be smaller.
  • Groups will join an initial dinner where they will meet their group members and receive cultural training.
  • Groups will then meet on a weekly basis at a time and place convenient to them.
  • Groups are encouraged to send a picture of themselves after their meeting to the International Student Services office.  We will post a picture on our Facebook page and have a drawing every week, with a prize given to the winners. The photo deadline is every Friday at 5 p.m.
