Come hear Chinese scholar speak on cultural differences Wednesday
Jingping Ge, our visiting scholar from China, sponsored by the Chinese Scholarship Council, will present “Crossing Borders: Exploring cultural differences between the U.S. and China†from noon to 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, in Canyon Commons 101.
Bring your lunch and take in an informative, interactive time of learning more about how Chinese and Americans can more effectively navigate between these two cultures.
Jingping Ge is a senior lecturer at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. She’s taught for more than 20 years in China and teaches a variety of courses, including English literature, comprehensive English, and Western society and culture. She was also a visiting scholar at the University of Central Lancashire in the United Kingdom. She brings a wealth of cross-cultural communication experience.
