Important Details
The BOD POD is located in the back hallway, downstairs in the Wheeler Center.
Women: Women will need to be in spandex or Lycra shorts (above the knee) and a spandex or Lycra sports bra. Neither can have padding, and both must be form fitting. Also, there must be at least two hours since working out.
Men: Men will need to wear spandex shorts, no top. Spandex shorts cannot have padding and must be form fitting. Also, there must be at least two hours since working out.
What is a BOD POD? The BOD POD is an Air Displacement Plethysmograph (ADP) that determines body composition (fat vs. lean). Similar in principle to underwater weighing, the BOD POD measures body mass (weight) using a very precise scale and volume by sitting inside the BOD POD.
