Looking for a book to challenge you? Join ‘Waking Up White’ book club

Looking for a good read that will grow and challenge you? Join other staff, faculty and administrators this spring as we read through Debby Irving’s book Waking Up White: And Finding Myself in the Story of Race. Meet up to process what you read, voice your insights and to grow in your ability to contribute to creating a more inclusive campus. If you are interested, please sign up at this link.

We’ll meet Thursdays on Jan. 26, Feb. 9, March 2, March 23 and April 13. All sessions run from 9 to 10 a.m. in Stevens 202.

Space is limited to nine people. Participants are expected to attend all five meet-up sessions. Free copies of the text will be provided to participants.
