Study abroad program seeks visiting faculty members

Starting this fall, the Council on International Educational Exchange will begin accepting applications from U.S.-based faculty to teach as guest instructors at one of four Global Institutes (Berlin, London, Paris and Rome). These institutes allow academics from around the world to share and improve teaching practices.

CIEE invites interest from faculty from any of the following disciplines …

  • Liberal arts
  • Business
  • Communications and new media
  • Political science and international relations
  • Foreign language and literature (French, German and Italian)
  • Health sciences

Each course is 45 contact hours (60 for language instruction) taught in either a six-week block during a semester or a four-week session in the summer. Explore each of CIEE’s Open Campus programs and review courses by starting at the Global Institutes landing page.

Applications will be accepted for any of the Global Institutes’ three terms:

  • Summer: three four-week sessions from late May to mid-August
  • Fall: three six-week blocks from mid-August to mid-December
  • Spring: three six-week blocks from mid-January to mid-May
