Thank you for the time and energy many of you invested in Serve Day last Wednesday. You painted fences and walls, cleared brush, cleaned wheelchairs, organized classroom supplies … it was a great team effort, and it was for the “Good of our Neighbors!”

Since last Wednesday we have received a number of notes from community members that were touched by your work. Though Serve Day isn’t exactly about the “thanks,” it is good to know your efforts and sacrifices have been kindly received. We’re attaching a short video that tells a few of these stories.

This year, more than 2,000 people were involved in Serve Day in various ways. We know that this means that more than 2,000 people saw different sides of Serve Day; we are eager to learn about these experiences.
