Anderson, Zafar speak against use of religions to promote violence
Paul Anderson and Harris Zafar will be speaking against the use of their religions, Christianity and Islam, to promote violence at a session titled “Not in the Name of My Religion!” Anderson and Zafar have published widely on nonviolence, and speaking against the committing of violence in the name of religion is long overdue. Ron Mock will moderate the discussion following.
Join us from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tomorrow night (Thursday) at the Chehalem Cultural Center (415 E. Sheridan St.). The event is sponsored by the MLK Committee and the College of Christian Studies.
