Lecture ‘Faith, Work, Economics and Religious Freedom’ presented Oct. 13

The university community is invited to a free lecture, titled “Faith, Work, Economics and Religious Freedom,” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, in EHS 102. Presenting will be Hugh Whelchel, president of the Institute for Faith, Work & Economics and author of How Then Shall We Work.

Whelchel will address the Christian meaning of work and how the church lost sight of it. Central to his argument is that all work, not just missions and being a pastor, is important to God.
