Friday sessions highlight ‘St. John’s Bible’ in MLRC

The university community is invited to a series of “Turning the Page” sessions highlighting the Heritage Edition of the St. John’s Bible on campus. Beginning today (Friday) and each Friday through Oct. 16, Paul Anderson (Christian Studies) will speak about different sections of the Bible from 4 to 5 p.m. in the MLRC.

The Saint John’s Bible is the first completely handwritten and illuminated Bible to have been commissioned by a Benedictine Abbey (Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minn.) since the invention of the printing press. The Heritage Edition of The Saint John’s Bible is the full-size fine art reproduction of the original.

More information is able available by contacting Anderson at panderso@georgefox.edu.
