First ‘Finding Our Way in Postmodern America’ lecture is tonight

The campus community is invited to the first installment of the “Finding Our Way in Postmodern America” Liberal Arts and Critical Issues series tonight (Monday) in Hoover 105. The session runs from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and features Gideon Strauss, CEO of Africa 2065.

Strauss will present “Lost & Found: A Few Wayfinding Practices,” in which he will explore a handful of practices that may be helpful as we try and find our way through life in the world, starting out from the premise that being genuinely lost is a necessary part of the journey. Along the way, he will consider some of the relationships between identity, belonging, belief and vocation.
