Share your culture at next week’s Cultural Fair

Cultural Celebration Week is again scheduling a Cultural Fair, which will include an opportunity for students to share their cultures with our community by hosting a booth during the fair.

The booth consists of a table that can display any variety of cultural artifacts or information, as well as food or activities. Cultures represented in the past included various countries and regions, as well as domestic cultures such as African-American, Hispanic, Texan or Hawaiian. Everyone has a unique culture that they can share!

The Cultural Fair is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Bruin Den. Students organizing their booths can be reimbursed up to $35 for money spent on decorations, posters, food, or anything else that would help them display their culture.

If you would like to participate by hosting a booth, please contact Joanna Cox at jcox@georgefox.edu.

Faculty and staff, please encourage your students to consider sharing their culture at this event!
