Second ‘Earth, Wind, Fire and Water’ lecture presented Thursday
Make plans to attend the College of Engineering’s “Earth, Wind, Fire and Water” series, a five-part set of lectures this fall that tackle the topics of renewable energy, sustainability, climate change and the environment. The second installment of the series will be presented this Thursday, Oct. 23, when J.J. Arthur of NuScale Power speaks on “Small-Scale Nuclear Power Systems” from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Hoover 105.

- Thursday, Oct. 30: “Hydro-Power and Fish Passage in Oregon,” featuring Greg Apke of Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Hoover 105
- Thursday, Nov. 6: “Wind Farms and Wind Energy Systems,” featuring Bruce Hamilton of Navigant, Lemmons 13
- Thursday, Nov. 13: “Ocean Wave Energy Systems,” featuring Chad Stillinger of George Fox University, Hoover 105
