Play ‘First Lady Lou’ takes stage Nov. 14-15
The Hoover-Minthorn Museum in Newberg invites the university community to a presentation of the play First Lady Lou, which offers a glimpse into the life of Lou Henry Hoover, wife of Herbert Hoover. The play is being stage-managed by George Fox student Cydney Thompson.
The show will be performed at Newberg Friends Church, 307 S. College St., on Friday, Nov. 14, and Saturday, Nov. 15. The Friday show begins at 7:30 p.m. and the Saturday production is a matinee, scheduled for 2 p.m. The play was written by Rebecca Christian and features award-winning Portland actress and director Jane Fellows in the lead.
