Crisis management course offered on Newberg campus May 27-29
Security Services is proud to sponsor Crisis Management for Higher Education Institutes, a course that trains campus public safety and administration personnel the skills necessary to effectively manage a critical incident using the National Incident Management System’s Incident Command System and Multi-Agency Coordination Systems.
The course has specific emphasis on the unique aspects of response to a critical incident on higher education campuses. The course concludes with a practical application, role-play exercise customized to the community in which the course is delivered. This three-day course is now open for anyone in the George Fox community at no charge. It will run 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 27-29, on the Newberg campus.
The course is taught by emergency management experts from across the nation. If you are interested and want to sign up, contact Ed Gierok at egierok@georgefox.edu. He will send you a link to sign up for the course. No background in emergency management is required.
