Clyde Thomas speaks at first auxiliary meeting Oct. 4
The George Fox Auxiliary invites the university community to a series of luncheons this academic year featuring the theme “Reflections on Pacific College/GFC/GFU History.” Each session will feature a special speaker discussing school history. Meetings will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Cap and Gown Room, starting with the first meeting on Friday, Oct. 4.
In this first session, Clyde Thomas, director of plant services, will share the history of campus buildings, including info on the names of buildings and ideas of future campus growth. Details on future auxiliary presentations will be forthcoming.
The cost to attend is $8.50 per person, and payment may be made at the door. Reservations are required and can by arranged by calling Judy Woolsey at 503-538-7314.
