While it is not local, the George Fox women’s golf team is the host for the Phoenix Invitational at the Westbrook Village Golf Course in Peoria, Ariz., Friday and Saturday, March 15-16. Joining the No. 6-ranked Bruins in the tournament are No. 2 Washington-St. Louis, No. 13 Gustavus Adolphus, and three teams receiving votes for the top 25: Redlands, Baldwin-Wallace and St. Mary’s of Indiana.
