The campus community is invited to engage in our annual Cultural Celebration Week, scheduled Monday, Nov. 12, through Friday, Nov. 16.
Here is the schedule:
Monday, Nov. 12
- 10:40-11:30 a.m.: Chapel with religious studies professor Sarita Gallagher
Tuesday, Nov. 13
- 4-6 p.m.: Cultural Fair in the Bruin Den
- 9-10 p.m.: Shalom in Cap and Gown Room (with Cara Copeland)
Wednesday, Nov. 14
- 10:40-11:30 a.m.: Chapel with Chad Brennan (renewpartnerships.org)
- 7-9 p.m.: World’s Got Talent show, Bauman Auditorium
Thursday, Nov. 15
- 3:30-5 p.m.: Diversity Forum with Joel Perez, Hoover 105 (Joel will share updates on diversity initiatives)
- 7-9 p.m.: International Coffeehouse gathering, Brewin’ Grounds (formerly the Foxhole)
- 7-9 p.m.: “Colored White” panel discussion in Hoover 105 (with Melanie Hulbert, Jonathan Morell, Drew Miller, Jodi Van Gorkom and Bailie Bowey). Hear their stories of what it means to identify as white in a multicultural world.
Friday, Nov. 16
- 9 p.m.: Coffee & Culture gathering, hosted by student leaders in CoEd, Coffin lobby
