All invited to Election Day time of prayer and communion

The Department of Religious Studies will host a non-partisan time of Scripture reading, prayer and optional communion in a desire to help us remember, on this day that can be a time of both divisiveness and worry, that history is in God’s hands and that God calls us to live in peace with one another, even those who perhaps vote differently than us.

The time of prayer and reflection will be from 4 to 5 p.m. today (Tuesday) in the Hoover faculty lounge on the second floor of the Hoover Academic Building. All are welcome to come for all or part of the hour.
