Serve Day schedule released
Serve Day is this Wednesday, Sept. 5! The entire university community will unite together for our 14th annual Serve Day, participating in a variety of service opportunities in Newberg and the surrounding area.
Here’s the schedule:
7:30 – 8:20 a.m. – Continental Breakfast on the quad lawn and make your lunch*
8:30 a.m. – Kickoff celebration on the quad with a time of worship
9 a.m. – Gather at your # post and leave
Noon – Eat lunch with your group at the service site
4 p.m. – Return to campus for dinner, music, and the Activities & Church Fair on the quad (connect with our local churches and clubs on campus)
4:30-6:30 p.m. – Complimentary** picnic dinner for the George Fox community! Bring a picnic blanket to spread out on the quad and relax!
*Employees can purchase lunch for $6.50 at the information table the morning of Serve Day.
**Dinner is free for all students and employees. Adult guests can purchase dinner for $8.50. Kids under 10 are $6.
