Plant Services seeking assistance with composting study
Did you notice the 560,000 pounds of garbage going to the landfill every year from the George Fox Newberg campus? Interested in how 100,000 pounds of that garbage could be composted right here on campus?
Plant Services is exploring the possibility of enacting a campus-wide composting program and needs five to six on-campus houses or apartments to participate in a two-week compostable food waste audit.
