Registration still open for MLK Day of Service on Jan. 16

Register now for the MLK Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 16!

This day is similar to Serve Day except we collaborate with 10 other Portland-area universities. Students, employees and those with children over 6 years of age can participate.

Breakfast, lunch and a T-shirt are included in this volunteer event. For more info and to sign up, click on this link or stop by the Bruin Den on Tuesday and Wednesday this week between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and sign up!

Schedule for Jan. 16:

  • 7 a.m. – Participants check in at George Fox
  • 7:30 a.m. – Bus from campus to Roosevelt High School
  • 9 a.m. – Rally
  • 10:30 a.m. – Serve projects
  • 3 p.m. – Buses/vans will leave and head back to Newberg. We will be back no later than 5 p.m.
