ALARM was founded in 1994 in response to a crisis of Christian leadership in Africa following the genocide in Rwanda.
Musekura is the president and founder of ALARM. He is an ordained Baptist minister and published author who was born and raised in Rwanda. Wheeler is the international director of ALARM.
