Tomorrow (Wednesday) from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Mark Condo, pastor of Reedwood Friends Church, will host Joseph Clair, dean of the School of Theology, and Tyler Tate, director of the Miles J. Edwards Directorship for Professionalism and Comfort Care at OHSU, via Zoom (Password: “RFCLive”).

Tate will present for the Reedwood Forum on “Love Your Patient as Yourself: Restoring the Virtue of Love to the Practice of Healthcare.”

This presentation is open to all but especially hopes to be of interest to students and faculty in the healthcare sector.

The Center for Peace and Justice presents the Spring Woolman Peacemaking Forum tonight (Monday) from 6 to 7:30 p.m. via Zoom. Attend to learn about the work of the Mennonite Central Committee on immigration issues around the world.

Our guest speaker will be Dina Gonzalez-Pina, the MCC’s West Coast executive director, who will speak on the topic “Learn-Pray-Join: Immigration Justice, Radical Hospitality.” 

We’ll learn specifically how the West Coast MCC works in partnership with local organizations and Anabaptist churches focusing on restorative justice, immigration direct services and education, and peacebuilding along the U.S.-Mexico border. Their “Learn-Pray-Join” initiative works to raise awareness about the treatment of immigrants.

• Learning the components of PCBH/CoCM and how to match billing services to billing codes

Cherice Bock, an adjunct faculty member in the creation care program at Portland Seminary, will host a Zoom session, “Spirituality and Environmental Justice: Being an Ally in the Community of Creation,” on Wednesday, March 31, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

Bock serves as the creation justice advocate at Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon. As a recorded Quaker minister and alumna of George Fox, her concern for creation grows out of her Christian faith and her commitment to the calling to love God and love her neighbor as herself.
